Microsoft vs Google
Microsoft Corporation and Google, Inc. faced each in court on Tuesday over whether or not a Microsoft chinease executive would be working for Google. Microsoft basically wants to stop the former VP of Microsoft Kai-Fu Lee moving into working for Google. Attorneys backing up Microsoft said that Lee violates his contract due to the fact that he is familiar with the company’s operations.
Both of these companies going head to head shows the clearly visibile competition between each other and I’m sure Microsoft isn’t very happy with losing a vice president like Lee to Google. The hearing is expected to last another day.
What I find interesting is - I was reading some court documents where a Microsoft CFO threatened to kill Google during an office meeting, while throwing his chair across the room claiming he would destroy Lee like he did in the past. Some intense stuff, eh? We’ll see how this one unfolds in court.
